Eigentlich hätte am kommenden Freitag der Esse 850 Cup 2012 mit dem Primo Cup vor Monaco starten sollen. Jetzt hat sich die Klasse aufgrund der extremen Wetterbedingungen dazu entschieden, den Saisonauftakt zu verschieben. Hier die offizielle Mitteilung:

Dear Committee of Monaco Yacht Club
The esse850 International Class will not be part of the Primo Cup this year.
Because of the weatherconditions (very deep temperatures), the hugh volume of snow in the alpes and the situation of the streets from Switzerland and Germany to Monaco the teams decided not to go to the Mediterranean Sea. We trust you understand our reasons for not coming to the event. We apologize for any inconvenience in this connection.
